Other Info | The third show on Spectrum's monthly Crossfade Series will feature sets by composer/vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Angelica Negron and the percussion quartet/band hybrid ensemble, et al., each playing their owns sets and making a bit of music together. ensemble et al. (made up of percussionists Ron Tucker, Ross Marshall, Jeffrey Eng, and Charlie Kessenich) will be playing tunes from their newest album, Present Point Passed, as well as some et al oldies and quite possibly some new tunes to boot. Angelica will be playing new material from her latest project "Angélica Negrón & los Objetos Maravillosos" including the recent song cycle "La Búsqueda" (The Search) which explores the mysterious disappearance of a girl in an unknown town. Curated by composer/performer Matt Marks, Spectrum's Crossfade series pairs together distinct, yet complementary, musical voices, with performers playing sets of their own as well as combining forces to create new avenues of awesomeness.
